About Elle Roc/
Born and raised in London. Elle (pronouced "Ellie") was the third of four children, her father was an educator and her mother was a homemaker. Growing up in a working class area of London, Elle struggled with low self esteem and difficulty concentrating in school. Regardless she kept her head down and graduated University with a Bachlors of Arts degree. She joined a lighting company after college which presented her with the opportunity to transfer to Chicago. Here she met and fell in love with a man that gave her stability and two beautiful children. Unfortunately the marriage was not to be forever and after 10 years they divorced.
Once single again, Elle began a journey of self reflection. Therapy helped her overcome issues from childhood, and identify what went wrong within her marriage, while it was too late to turn back the hands of time she now knew what she had to do make sure she would not make the same mistakes again.
Today Elle is an entrepreneur, partner, mother and homemaker. Her hobbies include travel, cooking, self-learning and exercising while watching mukbangs on YouTube.
Ethan was born and raised in Seattle as the only child to teen parents. At the age of 5 he moved in with his grandparents who raised him until their passing. Life was not easy for Ethan but he was driven to succeed and was able to attain two college degrees while working full time to support himself. At aged 30 he married a girl from his hometown, unfortunately that marriage broke down and by the time he was 40 he found himself back on the market again. Ethan met Elle through an online dating app. He was able to fool her into swiping on his profile through his expert use of photo filters and an obscure sense of humor.
Today Ethan is an engineer and architect, in his spare time, he enjoys photography, interior design and the History Channel.
My big "WHY"/
I started this blog was because I have experienced what it is like to have your relationship fail due to lack of intimacy. Life will always get in the way, we all have jobs to do, many of us have children to raise, bills to pay and lawns to mow, but at the end of the evening we lay down next to a person we say we love but have likely spent the day barely communicating with.
My stories are a reminder to reconnect, take time at the end of the evening to read it together. Maybe it will get you hot and bothered? Maybe it will start a conversation? Either way it will bring your attention to each other.
I am not a writer, I did terribly in school, spellcheck has always been a dear friend of mine. But my style is raw and my creative juices flow in the bedroom and not just in my mind, my style, humor, and opinions may not be for everyone. But for those that do enjoy, please subscribe.
